In the mid 90’s our family took a trip to Lake Louise, Canada. This scene depicts the bottom of the mountain with the lodge and parking visible in the valley. The mountains rise up dramatically on both sides of the valley. The resort was rough and old school with lots of great off-trail skiing. The locals were not happy with as there wasn’t much new snow. We’re from New England so we classified the ice “packed powder.”
